Tall Oil Fatty Acids (TOFA) 100%, CAS 61790-12-3

Tall Oil Fatty Acids (TOFA) are produced by vacuum rectification of crude tall oil. The fatty acid fraction consists primarily of linoleic and oleic acids, along with other unsaturated and saturated acids. TOFA is obtained after separation of tall oil pitch, tall rosin, and distilled tall oil fractions.
While the primary market for TOFA is the coatings and paint industry, it is also widely used in mining, petrochemicals, and the production of emulsifiers and diesel fuel additives.
